I would like to set up logging to a remote syslog server on my FreeNAS 9.10 box. I do not want to send this data unencrypted through the internet. I see no mention of TLS (or TCP) in the documentation of this feature.
Do I really need to implement a dirty hack like changing /usr/local/etc/syslog-ng.conf after reboots?
Any suggestions?
