Hey guys,

I don't know how to describe my problem but i think the screenshot shows it very well

XQ2MCx1.png

How is the subitem of each vol called?
Is the parent the array itself and the subitem the zvol?

vol2 has the same available space listed on parent and subitem
but vol1 doesn't

I was deleting some dataset's while the volume was resilvering, maybe that's the cause? how to fix it?

It's an often asked question - a forum search should have revealed the answer.

Disregard the top line - it's the size of the pool, before parity.

How are the two volumes configured? Assuming vol2 is a single 3TB disk, there wouldn't be any overhead for parity on that volume.

sorry forgot to mention
both vol1 and vol2 are configured as an RAID1

vol1 2x 4TB
and vol2 2x3TB

the should behave the same?

I don't know if you had some reason for making separate volumes but you can put all of your disks in the same pool together.

yes I know but that doesn't help me with that question
the available section of vol1 should look exactly the same (in terms of same available space) as vol2 but doesn't

No, it should not. The top line is raw disk space. ZFS has additional metadata that also needs to be stored. 5% is not a crazy high figure, but it varies a lot on the workload.
