I'm new to FreeNAS and I have just installed FreeNAS 9.10-STABLE on a HP MicroServer gen8.
I have set up samba to share for 2 folders.
I intend to give everyone besides the owner and group to have read and browse access only on Shared.
And I want to hide Private and deny read and browse access for everyone besides the owner and the group. Hence I run
However I have received the following message from the server this morning:
And is my ACL set correctly?
Thank you very much!
I'm new to FreeNAS and I have just installed FreeNAS 9.10-STABLE on a HP MicroServer gen8.
I have set up samba to share for 2 folders.
- /mnt/pri/main -> Private
- /mnt/pri/main/shared -> Shared
I intend to give everyone besides the owner and group to have read and browse access only on Shared.
And I want to hide Private and deny read and browse access for everyone besides the owner and the group. Hence I run
setfacl -m everyone@:x:fd:allow /mnt/pri/main
I give everyone execute permission in order for other users to mount Shared through cifs.However I have received the following message from the server this morning:
HP-MS-gen8.local kernel log messages:
