I have installed FreeNAS 0.7.1.5024_Live on a USB drive (via UNetbootin), and have managed to install FreeNAS on one of my old laptops. I can get to the weblogin on 192.168.1.143:80, have updated the password, and have mapped the laptop 240gb hard drive to /ad4 using UFS. So far, so good.
Now, I would like to mount that entire drive so that I can access it from my Ubuntu 13.10 development machine. Here is where I start getting lost, so my question is "Where can I find a dirt-simple tutorial that will allow me to mount the FreeNAS drive /ad4 so that I can create folders and files on it?"
Thanks in advance for your help, I know this is a very basic noob question.
