Jails losing network every month or so

Since upgrading to 11.2 I've noticed all of my jails lose their network connection every month or so (most recently last night at 2am EST) if the server is not restarted, all of them have static ip's using vnet with iocage. Has anyone else experienced this or is it likely related to my network?

Anything else happening in /var/log/messages around the time the connection is lost?

I rebooted and applied the update as soon as possible to get my DVR back running, that would delete any logs wouldn't it?

No, logs are persistent. Though if the log has rolled over, you may have to use bzcat to read the compressed, archived version (like bzcat /var/log/messages.0.bz2).
