Hello all. My FreeNAS system has been running great and the 2 kids have come along so I haven't been on here much, but I have a little thing I have been trying to understand, and with the announcement of Corral I wanted to start getting my configuration as cleaned up as possible for prepping to upgrade.

I deployed the Plex Plugin at one point just to see how it would work. I uninstalled this some time ago as I decided that I would just create an ESXi host for those types of things as just didnt fully understand the jail concept and decided to just use FreeNAS for Storage.

After Removal of the plugin I was left with some Volumes that I wanted to understand and if these could be removed. Here is what I have left. I have just been ignoring them until now, but just want to clean up prior to upgrading.

What exactly is the jails volume and the .warden dataset, can these be removed if there are No Jails or Plugins installed and active?

Thanks in Advance!

If you have no jails or plugins, it is safe to delete the jail root dataset.
