jackett jail, service keeps stopping

I have installed jackett using the repository and have ran into issues where the service will just stop after 30 - 60 minutes. Everything runs fine when i start up the service up again however. The service starts automatically when the jail starts.

I am not sure how to fix this, any suggestions how to diagnose and fix?

service jackett start

that won't let me apply any updates. I think its failing when updating through the application. I need to do it in shell

Did disabling the automatic updates solve the crashing? I had to do this, I just want to make sure you actually solved your initial problem.

No problem. Very strange, I hope there's a new release soon that lets you turn it back on so this becomes seamless.

Jackett doesn't have too many features that need updating though so I'm fine just leaving mine stay outdated.

I would rather just manually set it up in a jail however. The freenas repos are notoriously dated..usually.
