Hello,
I've tried upgrading to the latest 9.2.1.2 FreeNAS and I have issues with CIFS. Is there a way to reset my Samba configuration without resetting the entire config?

Thanks for your time.

Reset the samba configuration? What is that even supposed to mean?????

The samba configuration files are generated based on your settings in the GUI. AFAIK they are regenerated on every bootup and every time you make a change.

If it's a broken config I believe you can recopy the basic smb.conf defaults.. Shouldn't break the service.. If you wanted to save any current changes and revert to a stock config the answer would be no unless you know where it is broken and recreate the config without the infringing lines etc..

Kinda need more info to figure out what you are trying to accomplish..

I mean resetting the Samba config to the "factory defaults" that came with FreeNAS 9.2.1.2
