Intel X540-T2 10gbe Force to 2.5GBe

I'm running Freenas with Intel X540-T2 NIC
In my Computer i have a 2.5GBe NIC. Is it possible to force 2.5Gbe on Freenas?
If i connect both device they alwas use 1GBe

According to Intel ARK the only supported speeds are: 100Mbps/1Gbps/10Gbps - os no, you can't do what you want.
