Excuse me for my bad english right away. I've just installed FreeNAS-11.1-U4 in my build so i have a question: is it a pentium G3250 enough powerful for running a home nas and hosting a plex server? I will use it for watching video with plex from a maximum of 3 devices at the same time. You can see my entire config into the signature box. Thank you for answering and tell me if i'm missing something or doing something wrong.

As long as your Plex clients support direct play and don't require transcoding then yes it should work just fine.

You might want to consider upping your memory though, 8GB is a bit slim to be running Plex with FreeNAS.

Yes. I use a G3240 and use emby, couch potato, transmission. I have streamed to 3 devices simultaneously without issue. It will transcode 1 stream provided you are not doing anything else at that time.
