Hi,
I have been trying to get the instantupload features on android app to upload to a cifs share. I cant seem to be able to do it. They upload just fine into nextcloud but those are own by nextcloud and only inside that software. I want the pictures to be to a share on my freenas. If anyone has been sucssesful with this I would like to hear how. Thanks

It's probably that the app you're using is expecting NTLMv1 (an insecure and extremely old security protocol that was disabled by default in FreeNAS some years ago).

You can turn it back on if you must under Services | SMB (configure). Look at the SMB1 and NTLMv1 auth checkboxes. Don't forget to restart the SMB service after making a change.

I appreciate the response not exactly sure how this is supposed to help do you know if there is info on this? Used to work in legacy version. Most used part of it. Changing smb to not secured didnt solve anything
