Hi! I've got a Western Digital MyCloud EX2 NAS, which will be unusable outside my LAN soon. I'm starting to think of alternatives and I've come up with TrueNAS. I wish I could reuse that hardware, but I don't know whether I can install TrueNAS on that hardware. Is it possible?

Thank you so much.

From their website:

Upgraded with the powerful Marvell ARMADA 385 1.3GHz dual-core processor, you’ll get ultra-fast transfer rates for high performance streaming. It also comes with 1GB of DDR3 memory, so you can multitask with ease.

You need an X64 processor and at least 8GB RAM (recently updated to 16GB) to run TrueNAS.

It certainly won't work on your hardware.
