I have an HP DL380 G4 with a Smart Array 6i Raid and a Smart array 6400 Raid controller installed. I have installed FreeNAS 8.0 i386 version, and the system boots fine and it recognizes all the drives on the 6i controller. However, the Smart Array 6400 controller and its drives do not show up in the device list. Do I need to manually install the 6400 controller. I am new to linux and freeBSD so I would surely appreciate if you could post detailed instructions as to how to install/troubleshoot this issue.
