Install error

Hi all,

this is the first time that I'm trying to install Freenas on an old pc.
Specs are something of 1 HDD 500 GB and about 4GB RAM.
I know that FreeNAS 11.1 requires 8GB, but I've also read that this is not a problem.
I install freenas from a USB stick but get an error even before I can chose to install/update.
The errors are:
(aprobe0:ahcich0:0:0:0): CAM status: Command timeout
(aprobe0:ahcich0:0:0:0): Error 5, Retries exhausted
aprobe0: Timeout on slot 30 port 0

Does anyone know how I can continue?

I know that FreeNAS 11.1 requires 8GB, but I've also read that this is not a problem.

What you read is incorrect as 8GB is the required minimum.

There is also an issue with the disk (the CAM errors).
