You are awesome! I tried out PhotoSync today and instantly fell in love. Not only does this app work as intended but touchbyte GmbH also respects its users enough to offer both a subscription as well as a perpetual license option. Other options such as initiating a auto-transfer while on line power using geo-fencing, auto-translation (HEIC to JPG), filename-rename (from Apples 8890IMG to DATE-Time), etc. round out an all-star app. So happy!
The only minor issue I ran into was that the SMB share I created for it had to have it's directory chowned to match the custom user I created for PhotoSync. But that was simple user error on my part and easily fixed via the shell. I just removed about 600 pictures / videos from the Phone, which is a few gigabytes.
