impact of changing quota of existing dataset

hi,

i have a dataset which was created a while back and is in fully used(50G). i have to increase the quota to double. will there be any impact on the existing mount which is using it if i increase it to 1TB. do i need to do anything additional for the systems to view this after increasing the quota to 1TB.

Increasing a quota will take effect immediately. There is a possibility that SMB clients may have to disconnect and reconnect to see the changes.

If you decrease a quota, it will keep all the data in the dataset as is, but it will not allow new data to be written to the dataset until it is under the quota.
