Google tells me this is an LSI 9260-8I and I have found that others have successfully flashed the LSI firmware on it. I could not find an IT firmware for this particular card so IDK if S.M.A.R.T. will passthrough or not.

Has anyone used this card in FreeNAS before?

Does anyone have any advice on using this card or not? Thanks

The 9260s don't do IT mode, so they're poor choices.

That's what I was expecting. Oh well, it was free. I'll eBay it and try to find a M1015 for cheap.
