HPE ML110 Gen10 and HDD temp

Hi,
I have an HPE ML110 Gen10 server running TrueNAS SCALE 22.12.4

I have disks installed:
OS: 2x KINGSTON_SV300S37A60G - ZFS mirror
STORAGE 1: 4x Seagate ST4000NM002A-2HZ101 - raid z1
STORAGE 2: 2x Seagate ST3000VN007-2AH16M - mirror ZFS

All drives have S.M.A.R.T. enabled. and HDD Standby is Always on.

My disk temperatures were always displayed correctly.
I don't know why they stopped displaying correctly.
The current temperature is approximately 68,719,476,771 °C

Something's obviously wrong.

Smartctl shows disk temperatures correctly.
194 Temperature_Celsius -O---K 030 053 000 - 30 (0 16 0 0 0)

The drives are connected directly to the motherboard and the drive controller is set to SATA AHCI.

The only thing that changed was that I connected two SSD drives to perform some tests.

I didn't change anything else in the server.

do you have any ideas?

There is another thread about this, it appears to be a bug in the latest Scale. It will be fixed in Cobia.

SOLVED - Reporting for Disk Temp doesn't update for HDDs (fixed in TrueNAS-SCALE-22.12.4.2)

**EDIT** SOLVED IN TrueNAS-SCALE-22.12.4.2 I've noticed something a touch odd where the GUI for reporting disk temps never seems to update the temps for my HDDs until I reboot the system; and only then it'll set a temp & never change it until the next reboot. My NVMe drives seems to report...

Latest update changed it, as you can see from reading that thread, others have the same issue including me.
