HP54L Network ports

I have an HP54L microserver. I added a 10G card to it. Everything works out of the box . Great.

i was short of 10G ports on my switch so I decided to remove the 10g connection from the HP54L which i did from the menu on the PC console itself. By deleting the ports.

Now regardless of what I do - rebooting etc. They are no longer recognised by FreeNAs.

How do I get them 'back' I am sure they are working, they have been for ages before I used the 10G card.

Were you able to resolve this? If not, which version of FreeNAS?

Its the very latest version - I am not sure its a version problem. Although updated it did not bring the fixed motherboard ports back. Its like when you boot up the machine - your grub, and its finds hardware and installs the ports back. I need to do that somehow WITHOUT reloaded the FREENAS. Worst case, i start again from scratch. Unless of course there is a commnd or program to run which will hold everything and bring the ports back. This is a self-inflicted problem though.
