Hi,
I have a dual gigabit NIC card from HP NC360T.
This is a very fast server grade NIC and I would like to use this rather than my onboard controller which is not recognized by version x64MAD 0.7.2.6694 at all.
However, my HP NIC is performing only at 100baseTX Full duplex instead of its native 1000baseTX full duplex.
I have changed the Auto option at the interface setup to 1000baseTX full duplex and my network connection was lost. I had to re-install the application since I was unable to go into the web interface and revert my interface setting.
I assume that I need to install the proper driver for normal operation.
I only see two Linux based drivers at the HP site: SUSE Enterpise and Red Hat Enterprise.
Could any of those be usable for my purpose? If so, how do I install this driver?
I have no clue about Linux unfortunately.
Thank you for your help.
