Just some information for the community, (you dont need to buy a crossflashed h710 on ebay anymore, 4 times the normal price)
Its possible to crossflash Dell h710 (mini) to LSI SAS2308, I updated yesterday my freenas server from a PCIe H310 (IT-mode) to the onboard H710 mini (IT-mode).
All went easy with the outstanding simple guide, and a have a performance increase of 120MB/s with ISCSI (10Gbe)
