I want to move this, but can't find any way for deleting the existing dataset as I get a "cannot unmount mnt/APE_Pool/Adrian/syslog: device busy" message.

Thanks

Upgrade to FreeNAS 9.2. That bug is fixed.

Thanks. I'm running 9.2 and yes, I can start the FTP service, but the problem I'm having is removing the syslog dataset :)

Try to run this from command line (either console of SSH, do not use the web GUI shell):
[panel]service syslogd stop
service nginx stop
zfs destroy APE_Pool/Adrian/syslog[/panel]
And then reboot -- you can just type "reboot" in the shell.

I get the same message!

ssh root@freenas.local (using Terminal on the Mac)

service syslogd stop > stopping syslogd - Waiting for PIDS: 1807

service nginx stop > stopping nginx - Waiting for PIDS: 11782

zfs destroy APE_pool/Adrian/syslog > cannot unmount 'mnt/APE_pool/Adrian/syslog: Device Busy

Can you please post output of: "fstat /mnt/APE_pool/Adrian/syslog/*"
