Hi everybody,

I need your help for installing FreeNAS 8.0.4 on a Snap Server 110 (http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/content/view/30111/75/).
First step, I plug the HDD on my PC and install FreeNAS on. Next step, I plug the HDD on my Snap Server and I power on it, but he don't boot. I haven't any display connexion on Snap Server, I can't watch is going on.

I use the version x86 of FreeNAS. But there is some tips to do for installing and boot up FreeNAS on my Snap Server.

Thx everybody.

Hi N3xU5,

The short answer is you don't.

That device doesn't have nearly enough memory to run 8.0.4.

It only has a single internal hard drive so why put forth the effort? You won't be able to utilize the USB ports for extra storage with the current implementation of FreeNAS 8.

Have you bothered to checked to see if the hardware is compatible with FreeNAS 8?
