Hi, a beginner question: I have my main pool, lets call it "A", FreeNAS is doing a daily snapshot of it (and keeps the snapshots for 1 week). I also have an USB storage, lets call it "B" to which I send the snapshots on regular intervals to keep both in sync. I was going to automate the process, but forgot/was too lazy/etc. on top of that I also forgot to send the snapshots from A -> B for last month. So now I'm in a state where B is on a snapshot from Oct. 2 while my oldest snapshot on A is from Oct. 17. Obviously I cannot just to an incremental zfs send -Ri .... | zfs receive since my destination is not up to date.
What is the best way forward? Should I clear out B and do a fresh full snapshot (not incremental), or is there some better way of handling this scenario.
