Hi,
I've just taken on the administration of a FreeNAS 11.1-U1 box. Users were complaining their VM's were slow and I saw that the 6GB of swap was totally exhausted. I shut down all the VM's (which made no difference) and rebooted the box.
My question is can FreeNAS send me an email when swap use goes over a threshold (say 15%) or do I just need to write a cron job for this? I could not see any configurable alerts.
I'll be upgrading to U6 this weekend, I saw some memory leaks were fixed in that.
Thanks -- lee
