I am using FreeNAS-8.0.2 and I have configured Active Directory Authentication.
When member of "core_ict_admins" group logon to windows machine and access \\core-nas1; they are not prompted for username and passwords. They can successfully click the shared folder DATA and read/write on the shares.
Whereas if any other users who are not member of "core_ict_admins" groups access \\core-nas1; they can see the shared folder DATA but when they click it, a error pops saying "You might not have a permission to use this network resources.....".
My question is: Is there anyway to prompt for username and password for everybody when accessing shares \\core-nas1 So that I don't need to logon to windows as the member of "core_ict_admins". And if I want to access the shares all I do is put the username and password of the user who is member of "core_ict_admins" .
I will be very grateful for the help.
