How do I expand a disk (not a partition?) for a VM? (ZVOL)

I have used ZFS send and recv to clone a VM ZVOL from lz4 compression, 50GB to zstd compression, 80GB
Problem is, when I boot my UbuntuVM - the DISK is still coming up as 50GB?

GParted, can't resize the Ubuntu VM partition, because the disk itself, is still showing 50GB?
I assume this is a simple thing I'm missing, right?

Have you tried to use resize2fs as in this thread? https://www.ixsystems.com/community/threads/resizing-vm-zvol-disk.77764/
It worked for me. I'm also running Alpine, not Ubuntu.

If you have a snapshot of the VM, the disk won't update/take a resize at the hypervisor level.
