How are people with B450M builds doing?

Hey,

Wanted to get some feedback from people who used consumer Ryzen boards for their builds.

Did the unbuffered ECC thing work out?

Anyone try to redirect their TTY to a serial port to avoid having to use a graphics card?

I have this recurring dream where I create a cluster with B450M boards and R3 1200 processors with a switchable RS232 hub connected w/ picocom.

Is that nuts?

I'm hardly one to pass judgement on another's sanity, but I wouldn't bother with a 1200 (even if it were AF) when the 3100 is way ahead of it for performance, but not far away in pricing. Or stretch a little further and get 50% more cores, newer architecture and higher all-core clocks with a 1600AF/2600/3600.
B550 motherboards are right around the corner, might be worth waiting to see what prices they launch at.

I'm using an ASRock Fatal1ty mini itx board with an R3 Pro 2200. I wanted to be sure that ECC works. My 1700x could handle ecc as well but this board wouldn't boot without a graphics card. (Pcie populated with an sas controller)
