It has been a while! I'm a low-grade home user with an old FreeNAS setup built on an HP Microserver and four 2TB WD Red drives. It does duty as the household backup device, getting inputs from a bunch of old Windows PC's. I was running 9.10.2-U6, but had left auto updates on, and had failed to check back.
Today therefore I found that my server couldn't see the (old?) update server, so I'm now doing a manual update to current 11.1-U7.
If all goes well, I'll drop off the community map until my next problem - or until I get crazy/bored and decide it is time to build something bigger.
