Good night,
Sorry for my english,
I'm new to the forum and need help.
I'm running FreeNAS-x64-9.2.1.6-RELEASE via a USB stick.
My motherboard is an Asrock Z97E-ITX/ac. (Http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z97E-ITXac/?cat=Specifications)
She has a network card intel 82579LM Gigabit network connection, onboard, chipset is not recognized by the operating system.
Already tried installing Freebsd 9.2 and compile the module, source https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=17509
I copied the file .ko to /boot/kernel/if_em.ko and put to boot from /boot/loader.conf in my FreeNAS
The service begins with the module operating system however the interface em0 is not up and is not recognized in /dev/XXX
Can anyone help me on this problem?
Freenas supports this nic?
Appreciate the attention already
