Been lurking for about a month reading everything I can about FreeNAS.
Finally decided to register and start building my own system.
Been working in and around IT for 10+ years. Bit of a jack of all trades master of none. Multiple platforms but I have most experience with Mac OS X. Recently completed some Cisco training and Network Security.
Built a pfSense box for my home lab last year. Enjoyed that, learned a lot, still learning. Very much looking forward to building my first FreeNAS box and learning more.
Will post a build thread with details, photos and probably some questions once I get started.
