I am new to Server operations, so this has been a very steep learning curve, but I am slowly coming to grips with it all.
I have almost completed my build design, following the recommendations of the Hardware Recommendations Guide where possible. It's the "where possible" that has me a bit concerned. Not all recommended components are available locally so I have tried matching the specs as close as possible with alternative items, but it will be nice to have a second opinion once I finally post.
