Hello FreeNAS

My name is ONM1SNO. I am 57. I have been building and repairing computers for 25 years. I am currently taking classes on line at ITT Technical Institute. My goal for now is an Associates Degree in Information Technology. I have maintained a 3 computer network in my home for the past 2 years. A Dell desktop dual-booting Windows 7/Ubuntu 11.10, an HP desktop dual-booting Windows XP/Ubuntu 11.10 which I also use as a server running FreeNAS 8 on a 4GB flashdrive and a Lenovo T60 Thinkpad dual-booting Windows XP/Ubuntu 11.10. I have been using FreeNAS for about 6 months. It works great for me as a media server. I joined the forum because I would like to become familiar with other implimentation possibilities.
