Just joined the forum after lurking the past week or so. I'm working on building my first NAS to serve up media to a HTPC connected to my TV and to potentially use for PC backup purposes. The NAS will probably be located in a closet or wherever the modem/wireless router is (I'll be moving soon so I'm not sure where this will be). I'm hoping to serve media wirelessly but if that isn't practical I can do it hardwired instead.
