Hello all. First time post. Forgive me in advance if I have posted in the wrong forum section. Can I setup a new freenas server, use a fresh drive for the FN OS, use several large SATA drives that have data on them. I do not want to lose that data. And, I would prefer not to have to move it somewhere else until I am done with the install. Drives are NTFS. Thank you

No, you'll need drives that are blank for the pool setup, as FreeNAS formats drives before use.
