Have I found a bug in FreeNAS v11.1?
When I am hot swapping (Import/Use/Export) a single drive pool I am getting these messages:
freenas savecore: /dev/XXXp1: Operation not permitted
and
freenas syslog-ng[72315]: syslog-ng shutting down; version='3.7.3'
freenas syslog-ng[76101]: syslog-ng starting up; version='3.7.3'
Can someone please tell me why? Anything I need to worry about?
I did not notice any ill effects to the system, and the operations that I performed on the removable pool appeared to complete successfully.
FYI the hot swap bay connects the SATA connector first, and then applies power when the lock key is turned. Then I import the pool from the GUI. After use I export from the GUI, wait for the detach to complete, and turn off the power. After waiting for the drive to spin down I remove and store the drive.
I have provided a section of log for context:
Thanks in advance for any suggestions/advice.
