Hardware Failure = Noob is Afraid

Just looking for some confirmation...
The motherboard on my FreeNAS box just had a little burnout. I am in the process of getting a new board etc.

All the data on on the drives is unchanged and safe, right?

When I get the new board and get everything installed, I can just plug the USB drive in, fire the puppy up and it will be just like 3 days ago when everything was hunky dory, right?

Unless there are any other surprises/hardware failures, that's the way it should work.
