Forgive me, I'm new to FreeNas, and just bought the components to set up a home network storage.

I installed FreeNAS 8.0.4 x64 on a USB stick through VMware on another computer, and from what I see the installation went through fine and without a hitch.

Now I plugged it into the box that will run FreeNAS, and everything boots normally. I get to the screen that has the options

Welcome to FreeNAS!
1. Boot FreeNAS [default]
2. Boot FreeNAS with ACPI Disabled
etc...

Now my problem is, after the default countdown or whenever I try to pick another option, the cursor turns a solid block up in the left hand corner of the screen, and everything locks up. I can't do anything at this point, besides forcing a power off.

I looked in the FAQ and didn't see anything that seemed similar, so again, forgive me for being a noob.

Setup :
Foxconn D270S Motherboard
Intel Atom D2700 processor
Seagate Barracuda Green 1.5 TB hd x2
4gb Crucial ram

Fixed it, fixed it.

Turns out that although Intel says that the D2700 Atom chip is 64bit, it isn't really. All that was needed was the 32 bit version.
