getting timeouts in calls to disktemp.py after update to 11.3-U3.1

Things are going fine, then suddenly the gui is sluggish / non-responsive. Console shows multiple complaints about timeouts in calls to disktemp.py.

Freenas Mini-3.0 XL+, 64 GB ram, 8x 6 TB.

Has anyone else seen this?

@Dewey experienced the same thing in this thread. He & I never were able to track it down. I thought it most smelled like hardware going bad.
