Hang tight. We have been responding on the ticket and threads. So far risk appears very low, and only appears when running virtualization workloads with some very specific set of conditions. As difficult as it's been to get a verified reproduction case, it's definitely not widespread.

So there is already 4 threads about this that you included in your OP about the same issue and you saw fit to start another one? For what purpose?

iXsystems is working hard with me trying to nail down the issue.

Sorry for the nitpicking but in this case it matters: "hardly" means they are not working at all, just pretending to. What you probably meant to say is "working hard".

Counterpoint - I've been running virtual workloads (ESXi 6.7U3 + Horizon View 7.12) on TrueNAS 12.0 without corruption.

Caveat though is that the only VM "running off a snapshot" is the gold master image, and I don't beat on this specific environment that hard.
