ftp connecting to my bsd flash drive and not my files??

cant get freenas to show my files in ftp

username and password is ok
ddns is ok
nat is all set up ok

in reenas the ftp server is turned on and i think is set up ok

ive accepted i will always be a freenas noob

Maybe uncheck "allow root login" and use a luser (local user) login instead.

i still have no idea why the ftp would/could point to my freebsd drive

thanks for the help ben, i did try your sugestion but it didnt work

i updated to freenas 8.0.3 and the problem was solved

Glad your problem is solved. Must have been an old bug that got fixed in more recent versions. Presumably you mean 8.3.0 not 8.0.3? 8.0.3 is pretty outdated, 8.3.0 is the most up to date version.
