From VM to baremetal

Any tips before I migrate to baremetal.
Can I backup and restore jails,sharings etc?

We need a teency bit more info. How is your exisitng VM configured? If you passed your HBA through to the VM, then you should be able to save the config, install the same version on a USB drive, restore your config and be on your merry way.

Yes the hba is passed through.
Ill try to restore and är what happends .

Importing the zpool cant fail tho. It would be nice to have the rights,user and groups from the current setup so i dont have too conf it all from scratch

You shouldn't need to do anything in that case. I would use a different boot device, so that you can easily go back to the VM setup if needed.
