This is my first attempt at installing FreeNAS. I've installed it on a SSD. When it tries to boot, it stops after this message "ACPI0:<HPQOEM SLIC_CPC> on motherboard.

Yes, I know that it needs 8 GB of RAM, but I have that on order. I was trying to get things going before it arrives. I have tried to turn off ACPI in the bios, but can find no where to do that. Is there a workaround with this issue or am I screwed in trying to run FreeNAS on this PC?

I reinstalled the OS (with format) and selected BIOS. I rebooted to the boot menu and selected the SSD and now it immediately gives me an error saying that there is no boot disk.

So, I go back into my bios and set everything back to defaults. Now when I boot up I get some intel copyright info and the client MAC address, GUID with a long number and then the following:
PXE-E53 No boot filename received
Pxe-MOF Exiting PXE ROM
Error: No boot disk detected or disk is bad

After applying the defaults to the bios, it enabled network boot. When it didn't see a boot disk it was trying to boot from the network. Disabling network boot, just gives me the error message No boot disk detected, so I'm back to where I started.

After upgrading to 8 GB RAM, adding my storage drive, (I needed a power adaptor) and reloading the OS using the BIOS mode, I try and boot up, I don't get the error message, but only a single flashing hyphen. I'm out of things to try.
