Gateway sx2100g, 6gb ram, tried 8/16 gb thumb drives, 9.3 freeNAS.
BIOS set to storage as Hard drive.
When I put the stick in before imaging, the bios reports it as a hard drive, it sees it.
After imaging with FreeNAS bios doesn't show the stick.
As a consequence it boots to the hard drive or optical depending what is loaded.
Boot order is removable/optical/HD.
Is this a pure bios issue and therefore SOL if no update available?

I will likely try a different pc to test the issue but input is greatly welcomed.

Most likely that hardware is not supported, it definitely doesn't meet minimum requirements.
