I have installed FreeNAS-8.0.1-BETA4-amd64 on VMware ESXi 4.0.1 (build 381591).
Motherboard: Supermicro X8SI6-F (onboard sas controller disabled - not supported yet)
RAM: 16GB
HD: 8x1 tb Seagate
SAS Controller: Intel SASUC8I (supported)
FreeNAS vm: HD - 4GB, RAM - 8GB, CPU - 2.
I wanted CPU = 4 but I get waves of "interrupt storm detected on IRQ 18, throttling source"
In order to get CPU = 2, I had to add a second NIC, which I deleted later, and added the 2nd CPU.
Please explain/help.
