FreeNAS Stalling/Freezing when copying data to it

I have an issue with a new setup I've put on an old PC I had standing around.

I am testing on it with 2 small 160GB drives (No point using bigger atm). I can map to it, create new files on it, and copy/paste small files, however I tested by copying 20GB to it in 1 Norton Ghost file and after 5 minutes or so, it fails and the device is not available to connect to or PING until it is hard rebooted.

Any ideas?

RAM: 2GB DDR2 ( 2 x 1GB SODIMMS)

hmmmm...

looks like I might need to add the following to my loader.conf:

hw.nfe.msi_disable = "1"
hw.nfe.msix_disable = "1"
hw.pci.enable_msix=0
hw.pci.enable_msi=0

However this is read only... any suggestions?

This tells you how to go about editing the loader.conf :) Just testing to see if the issue has gone away...

Has to done... this software looks good, but I would like the GUI torrent interface ability and a jdownloader like ability - I have these in my ubuntu box

transmission is planned for FN8.1 according to the roadmap for torrents
