FREENAS SEAGATE GOFLEX NET

Good morning, I'm totally new to the forum, I bought a Seagate freeagent goflex net, this works as a NAS with Pogoplug interface, but I do not like, you can install FreeNAS on the HD connected to the device that I purchased?

You obviously have no idea what the hell you're dealing with and you obviously did no reading whatsoever.

The short answer to your question is "Nope."

I recommend you read up on networking and NAS in general before getting any more ideas.

I think we should have a hardware incompatibility thread where people post things that won't obviously work with FreeNAS. I have a broken clothes dryer that I'm pretty sure won't run FreeNAS.
My 2007 Macbook might though. It just requires setting some tunables to get it to boot. :)
