I am adding a backup FreeNAS server to my configuration (due to arrive tomorrow). Each FreeNAS box has three network interfaces:

1) Intel 540-T1 10G - FreeNAS-to-FreeNAS Replication connection (no switch, /30 network, no Default GW)

2) Intel 1G - FreeNAS to Plex Server "Data" connection via VLAN (/29 network, no Default GW) Used for Plex server NFS share only. This is how my Plex server accesses the data on the FreeNAS server. Managed on Plex server via a host entry and on FreeNAS via allowed NFS connection by IP.

3) Intel 1G - FreeNAS to "Live" VLAN (internet access interface, management interface)

My question is how do I make sure my FreeNAS replication takes place across my 10G interfaces since my FreeNAS servers can "see" each other on three different interfaces?

Use the IP address of the remote server that is on the x.x.7.0/30 network rather than a host name.
