I installed the latest updates today and after reboot I keep getting this message

freenas ntpd_initres[2287] hot name not found :0.freebsd.pool.ntp.org
freenas ntpd_initres[2287] hot name not found :1.freebsd.pool.ntp.org
freenas ntpd_initres[2287] hot name not found :2.freebsd.pool.ntp.org

Any reason this would be happening or what I can do to fix?

Thank you

The reason is that the host name cannot be found. Aka the server tried to get the IP address for the given servers and couldn't get an IP. So you have some kind of networking snafu and you'll have to figure out where the snafu is.

Assuming the FreeNAS system is fine network-wise, you can ignore these messages. There was a bug in the network startup order which should be resolved with the next update. I saw the same thing on a newly updated system which had no problems accessing the network.

Yes, everything is working fine. I was wondering if it was due to an update since I have not changed anything on my network. Thank you for the info. I will wait for the next update!
