Dell r210
  • Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3450 @ 2.67GHz
  • 16GB
  • 2 x HGST 3.0 TB SATA Drives model hdn724030ale640 ZFS Mirror. Connected directly to motherboard which is running AHCI mode..no mobo raid
  • whatever comes inside the r210. no modifications.
  • Broadcom integrated gigabit nics
  • Boot disk: Adata 64 gig usb thumbdrive.( it is what i had available)
When rebooting, the system will not enable AD connectivity. Looking in the logs there were errors about unable to bind to Active Directory. Then later the system starts winbind and smbd after the failure. Once i bring the system up I then can enable AD connectivity. I am curious why this is occurring. I am using this as my backup target for my r610 running Server 2012 R2. This server is my AD controller as well. Any ideas?
